Hip Shing Hong Fully Support the First Phase of Space Sharing Scheme for Youth

27 October 2017, Hong Kong – Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Company Limited (“Hip Shing Hong”) today announced to fully support the “First phase of the Space Sharing Scheme for Youth” initiated by HKSAR Government. Hip Shing Hong will contribute an area of 5,560 sq.ft. on the fourth floor of Genesis, located at 33-35 Wong Chuk Hang Road,  to support start-ups and young entrepreneurs, at one-third the market rent to Po Leung Kuk, a champion of social services and one of the oldest NGOs in Hong Kong.

Po Leung Kuk will provide a wide range of supporting services to start-ups and young entrepreneurs at concessionary rent no higher than half of the market rent. This innovative scheme will blaze a trail towards a community-wide support for young people to pursue their passion and dreams in science, technology and art development.

Mr. David Fong, Managing Director of Hip Shing Hong said, “Hip Shing Hong is honoured to support the First Phase of the Space Sharing Scheme for Youth, which was announced in 2017 Policy Address by Mrs. Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of Hong Kong SAR. Through this “Community-Business-Government” tripartite partnership, we hope to work closely with Po Leung Kuk to deliver an energetic co-working space that delivers results and helps unleash the potential of creative youth.”
